Dock Rock is a small, multi-genre music event built around gathering good people for a good time. Think of it as a three-day groove fest. Come for a day, stay for the weekend, or do the whole glorious stretch.
We'll be moving from Spring into Summer, so expect warm, sunny days around 75–80°, and cooler mornings/evenings dipping to high 40s/low 50s.
Absolutely. Come whenever, wander off for an adventure… do it your way. You'll just need to show your wristband when returning to the grounds.
Please leave fireworks and firearms at home. Individual campfires are also not allowed in our fire-prone area but we'll have a communal fire ring, weather permitting.
Yes — please BYO food and drinks. We'll have some bites and beverages available, but you'll want to plan for your main meals. Picnic spreads, camp stoves, shared snacks encouraged.
Yes! Ukiah (10-15 minutes), Hopland (15 minutes), and Boonville (25 minutes) have a variety of options. See our Mendocino activities page
We'll have light grilled fair Saturday and Sunday. Craft beer will be available for a suggested donation in case you forget to bring enough.
Comfortable clothes that you can groove in. We find ourselves in shorts/warm-weather clothing in the daytime during this time of year. Wear whatever you're comfortable in, or hey – don't wear anything at all! Do what tickles your fancy. Bring some warmer layers for evening and early morning. You may want them for once the sun goes down.
Sunscreen, hat, bathing suit, towel, sunglasses, blanket for sitting, lawn chair, bug spray… a good attitude!

Yes – while the primary gathering space is open, there are plenty of tree shaded areas around the perimeter of the event space. Camping areas will be available near the main event area and also in a quieter area away from the center of action.
Yes! There is a pond next to the stage (water level contingent on weather) and plenty of places to swim nearby – Russian River, Lake Mendocino, Navarro River… whatever suits your fancy. We'll have a mobile sauna going next to the pond, also weather permitting.
Loose, kind, respectful, fun. Take care of each other, the land, the neighbors, and yourself.
This is a well-loved, lived in place. The property is located 1/2 mile down a dirt road, and while neighbors are fairly spread out, everyone appreciates driving slowly, respecting boundaries, and treating the space and everyone around like friends.
We couldn't function without volunteers. If you'd like to help out or sponsor a band please reach out to us at info@dockrockukiah.com. At the event please buy artist merch and drop some bills in the tip jar!
